Metro Councilman gives out free KY Kingdom passes to students who do not have access to pools

LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

More free passes to Kentucky Kingdom will be available to families affected by the pool closures this summer.

District 3 Metro councilman Kumar Rashad announced that he'll be giving out more free passes to Kentucky Kingdom to those who live in his district.

The passes will be given out on Saturday, but those who are interested must sign up to be considered. You can sign up here.

Those interested also must live in District 3 to be considered for a free pass. There will be a limit of six passes per household.

There are four time slots that are available to sign up for on Saturday:

  • 8-8:45 a.m.

  • 9-9:45 a.m.

  • 10-10:45 a.m.

  • 11-11:45 a.m.

After signing up, someone will reach out for further instructions about where to pick up the pass, but Rashad says there is no guarantee that everyone will be contacted.
